THE VIBRANT VETERAN GOES WILD
Kekena Kabelo the Vibrant victorious grade 10 leaner at LEKOKO SECONDARY School in Limpopo.
He has been far yet with his athletics journey. It all started at primary school and went to Lekoko Secondary School, when he started to take his talent more seriously. Everyone noticed that he is a talented athlete amongst 200+ learners. He is the chosen one due to his passion for athletics. He received a massive support from the pupils, teachers, SGB, Family and relatives. This young man thought of pursuing his career after the general athletics competitions which takes place at Ngwaritsi Circuit Ga-marishane Every Year during February/March. During March holidays he went participate at SAMCA at Pretoria which was sponsored by FORD and he got position one and he won a medal.
Though that was the beginning of his journey which inspired and motivated him to put more effort on his talent. He continued to participate in several athletics competitions such as LOSKOP Marathons 2017 and Polokwane MAYORAL Marathons. He won three races and medals. He's also a licensed member of MAKHUDUTHAMAGA ATHLETICS Club. Kekana wishes to see himself as a champion in many more marathons to come and he says the medals he currently have and those he is still going to have in the future will be his souvenir and memento. He has also inspired other learners at school who also registered as athletes at Makhuduthamaga. He qualifies for sponsorship as he's a dedicated and disciplined athlete
The Challenge he is facing is that he is training with no professional trainer and he wish to one in the future. Both Mr Masemola M.I and Mr Masemola S.S are his reliance and they aspire him to pursue his God given talent. He's soon going to participate in FOSKO Marathon Championship at Phalaborwa on the 22nd July 2017.
Not only urban people can showcase their talents to the mainstream, even rural areas have so many talents that are unforseen due to lackadaisical ancillary and support from the community.
